Puppetronics is a concept for sculpture designed for the underground raving industry. These are giant UV sculptures that are infact dancing puppets that resemble jelly fishes. Puppeteered with minimum effort and with results that are explosive and hypnotic, these puppets use an unusual form of momentum to maintain an intelligently rhythmic movement that is automatically synchronized to virtually any hard hitting underground rave tune from Drum n Bass to Psytrance. The amount of energy relieved by the puppet jelly fish is simply an illusion. The puppet is controlled by one string that is being tugged to the beat or rhythm of the music synchronising its movement and letting the form and material do all the work. Fitted with UV lights and strobe lights makes their presence felt amongst any large crowd. The super charged three dimentionally animated performance of these giants is fascinating to observe as their tentacles and main body pick up rhythm. 2004 saw Puppetronics hitting the rave scene. Our clients include the well established Liquid Connective, Project Ozma, and The Synergy Project. The venues for Puppetronics have included, The Rocket, The Stratford Rex, The Bridge SE1, The Brixton Mass, The George Hotel, and The Glade Festival 2004 and 2005.The Puppetronics installations are available on demand for entire length of event.
